Please help me raise money for Parkinson Place Center.
I’m choosing to dance in the Parkinson Place Ballroom Blitz because Parkinson’s doesn’t just impact one person. It impacts families, friendships, confidence, routines, and everyday moments most people take for granted.
It can bring a whole lot of “funk” into people’s lives. Not the fun kind with disco balls and dance floors. The kind that can bring frustration, exhaustion, isolation, fear, and overwhelm to individuals and the people who love them most.
That’s why Parkinson Place matters so deeply. They help people Get UnFunkt. Through movement, connection, support, laughter, encouragement, and community, they remind people they are not alone and that light still exists even in hard seasons.
And honestly, what better way to fight the funk than through dance?
So I’ll be out there dancing with a whole lot of heart for every person navigating Parkinson’s, every caregiver showing up with strength and love, and every family choosing hope one day at a time.
Together, we can help more people shed the funk and keep moving forward one step at a time.
With gratitude and dancing shoes on,
Jaime Marco
